My favourite Barcelona football shirt by Renato Silva Gonçalves

We caught up with Renato Silva Gonçalves, writer for Barca Blaugranes to talk classic São Paulo FC shirts,  Barcelona design and that Messi goal against Manchester United. 

What was your first football shirt?

Throwback to the 2005 season, when Rogerio Ceni scored 21 goals for São Paulo to help the club win the Libertadores and the Club World Cup.

I got my first shirt in 2005, and it was São Paulo FC, my favourite Brazilian club and one of the biggest in the country. It is a classic design and I still have it to this day. Love it.

What is your favourite football shirt?

My favourite shirt is from Barcelona 14/15 season. The design is incredible, it won us a Treble and the design is incredible. Have I said the design is incredible?

My favorite goal has to be Lionel Messi’s in the 2011 Champions League final against Manchester United. It was his first goal in England, it was giant to win the game, and it was Pep Guardiola football in a nutshell: great possession football, midfield dominance, and Messi Magic. Unforgettable.
