Football Shirt News - Olympique Lyonnais Kit 09/10 by Umbro - 29/07/09

Olympique Lyonnais will begin their assault on regaining the Ligue 1 title wearing new home and away football kits made by Umbro.

Since the 2001 season Lyon have been dominant in French football winning a record seven straight ligue 1 titles. However, last season their crown was taken by Bordeaux, so Olympique Lyon will begin the 2009/10 season with a fresh approach, and brand new football kits.



The new Olympique Lyon home shirt continues the white/blue/red colourway, although for 09/10 the stripe is now horizontal and not vertical. The 09/10 away football shirt has an all new black and orange colourway, and both new Umbro football shirts feature the clubs mascot on the back of the shirt.
