Juventus 16/17 Home Kit by adidas

Ahead of being crowned champions of Italy for the fifth successive time today, the second chapter in the story between adidas and Juventus sees the release of the new 2016/17 home jersey.

After switching the Swoosh for the Three Stripes and following on from the inaugural adidas Juventus 2015/16 home shirt that featured thinner stripes than previous Nike kits ― six black and five white, a record number of stripes ― their sophomore offering will certainly raise eyebrows amongst the Juve fan base who will no doubt be split over the new look of their beloved bianconero... shades of Newcastle, anyone?

With a totally new approach that breaks the club's tradition of harmonic stripes, the Juventus 2016/17 home kit features wider stripes on the legendary black and white jersey. Although not visibile in the imagery here, black shorts with white stripes on the sides round off the kit along with black socks, displaying the traditional black and white combination thanks to a white outline solidly anchored to the three stripes on the side. In another new approach for adidas this year, the adidas three stripes run down the sides of the jersey instead of the shoulders.
