Nike Launch The Premier 2.0

After four years of service, Nike hang up the original Premier as the second generation 2.0 model arrives to prove that, despite what they say, you can improve on a classic.

Four years on from joining the Nike line up, the Premier gets a timely update alongside the recent release of the Tiempo Legend 7. Simplicity at every turn, the Premier 2.0 is everything you want from a classic boot and little more. Stepping into its second generation in the same black and white colourway as the original launch boot, the Premier 2.0 returns to a classic fold-over tongue taken from the Air Zoom Legend II.

Add some classic NIKE heel block branding to the heel, new vamp stitching across the kangaroo leather upper and a slightly wider lace area, and that’s as far as the updates go. As before, two oversized swoosh’s wrap around the heel, with a subtle ‘EST. 1972’ featured across the rear. The full-length TPU plate remains the same as the first generation, with a traditional combination of conical studs for a smooth ride.
