Getting a well overdue refresh for their regular setup, Nike launch the ‘Spectrum Pack, which sees colourful new looks for the Phantom GT, the Tiempo Legend VIII, and for the first time alongside them, the next generation Mercurial Vapor 14 and Superfly 8.

It’s been a while in coming, but Nike launch their first on-pitch pack of the year and the first pack since the ‘Daybreak Pack’, which dropped all the way back in August of last year. This here is the ‘Spectrum Pack’, and it sees vibrant updates for the Swoosh’s three silo setup, with the next generation Mercurial appearing alongside the Phantom GT and Tiempo Legend VIII for the first time. Unifying all three boots is a hint of “Rage Green”, which pops throughout the pack. Expect pro players in all top leagues across the globe to switch into these.

Starting off with the Mercurial, which sees the Vapor and Superfly entering into their 14th and 8th generations respectively, and this is only the second look following on from the equally colourful launch colourway, although it also drops at the same time as the more toned down ‘Black x Prism’ colourway.

For the ‘Spectrum Pack’ look, the Mercurial adopts a “Bright Crimson” base, and the aforementioned green pops through the familiar Swoosh outline. “Metallic Silver” detailing can be found on the heel and the soleplate, while the studs pop in crimson and blue.

The lack of any major drops over the last five months means that this is only the second pack appearance for the Phantom GT, with the Phantom GT Scorpion being the only other major drop since its launch. Here it takes “Photo Blue” as its core colour, embellished by hits of “Metallic Silver” through the upper, while the “Rage Green is restricted to an appearance through the stud tips.

For the Tiempo Legend VIII, it’s a familiar crisp “Platinum Tint” base, with the “Rage Green taking on its most in-your-face appearance, dominating the Swoosh, which wraps around the heel and flashes down the side foot. It then flashes again through the stud tips, much like the Phantom GT.
