New Balance Drop The 'Dark Ink' Pack

Drawing inspiration from the headlines, created when players leave their mark on the game, New Balance launch the ‘Dark Ink’ pack, wrapping the Tekela v3+ and Furon v6+ in dark suits for a subtle approach to the season ahead.

Taking an ultra-exclusive approach to the launch of the next generation Tekela, New Balance recently unveiled the ‘First Edition’, which saw all visible branding removed for a blacked out beauty that was only available for 48 hours. Now they take a step back into more regular territory, continuing the newspaper-esque theme and once again keeping the colour to a minimum for the ‘Dark Ink’ pack, which sees the Furon v6+ lineup alongside the Tekela v3+ for the first time.

So for the Triple Black Tekela v3+, New Balance has utilised a colour shifting effect that allows the returning branding on the boot to change colour depending on the light source, creating a unique, almost iridescent finish. Boasting a re-engineered stretch knit upper for optimum performance, the v3+ incorporates a full nylon injected chassis for in-game lightweight stability. A multi- directional stud configuration provides an incredible firm ground feel.

Joining the Tekela in the darkness is the Triple Black Furon 6+. It showcases next-generation fit weave upper technology for a faster and cleaner feeling as well as utilising the same colour shifting effect on the braining as the Tekela v3+, which allows the boot to change colour depending on the light source and angle.
