Mizuno Launch The Alpha 'Prism Gold'

There’s a touch of the regal for Mizuno’s first drop of the year, with the Alpha given a luxurious “White/GE Gold/Black” paint job for what’s being called the ‘Prism Gold’.

Few brands can boast the finesse in their craftsmanship that Mizuno can; Made in Japan existing as a mark of sheer quality. So you know what you’re getting from a construction and tech persepective when you invest in a pair, but the ‘Prism Gold’ edition of the Alpha – the brand’s top speed boot – just elevates the whole package with a premium presentation of white and gold that’s set to be worn by Sergio Ramos.

The colour execution sees a white base with golden graphics and details that emanate from the heel and soleplate, flowing towards the forefoot in the direction pointed out by the Runbird logo.

Weighing in at just 190 grams, the Mizuno Alpha is loaded with features, including Mizuno Enerzy Foam for enhanced return that boosts speed. It also boasts a perfect fit, achieved through the Engineered Fit woven construction. It lends itself to the extraordinary comfort that the brand’s boots are renowned for, offering a barefoot feel.

And for speed, a carbon insert features in the soleplate, visible through a transparent window and offering up snappy propulsion.
